The idea behind the Diablo IV campaign was to excite both old and new players with a fully immersive 3D space, concept art posters of the characters, 3D scanning of the player within the game, a 7-day puzzle of lore leading up to the game's release, and holographic displays of the main characters.

3D Immersive Space

Experiential Idea

The 3D immersive space will focus on a showcase of the original Diablo IV announcement cinematic surrounding the whole space as if they're within virtual reality.

The focus is to appeal to the audience in an extraordinary and surreal way to excite even non-gamers with an immersive experience. The assets/space has all been created through a combination of programs: Blender, Adobe Substance, and Adobe Illustrator.

7 days to release puzzle

Social Media Ad

The 7 days up to the release date of the game (currently 6/6/2023) will feature a social media puzzle (Instagram and/or Twitter) that builds onto itself each day, also bringing a bit of lore to recap old and new players of the game.

Holographics of Characters/3d Scan

Experiential Idea

Directly after the cinematic scene is over with the 3D space, people will be redirected into the back of the room where holograms of each of the character classes they can play as will be shown alongside a booth to 3D scan themselves into whichever class they'd like. The ability to put themselves into the game will then be unlocked via their account information and saved for when they first load up the game.
